Altavia Partners (“Altavia Partners”, “we”, “us”) provides bookkeeping, tax, sales tax, fractional CFO and COO, formation, and compliance services. This policy explains what we collect through this website and from clients, why we collect it, and how it is used.
Some services are sold through our dedicated sites, such as Easy LLC Setup and ITIN Solutions. An order placed on one of those sites is covered by that site’s own privacy policy.
Information we collect on this site
This site does not have accounts or take payments. When you use the contact form, we collect:
- Your name and email address
- The service you are asking about and the message you write
Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard technical information when pages are requested, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit, to operate and secure the site. This site does not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
Information we receive as a client
If you engage us, we receive the information the work requires, which can include company formation and ownership details, identity documents for EIN or ITIN applications, bank, card, and sales platform records, prior returns, and correspondence from tax authorities. What we collect, and how we handle it, is also set out in your engagement letter.
How we use it
- Reply to your message and prepare a quote or proposal
- Provide the services you engage us for, including preparing and filing returns and reports
- Send you the emails an engagement needs, such as onboarding steps, requests for documents, and deliverables
- Meet our legal, tax, and professional record-keeping obligations
We ask for the details a filing requires and nothing more. We do not sell your information.
Who we share it with
- Service providers that help us run the business: website hosting, our internal client management system, and the email and messaging tools that let our team see and answer new messages
- The accounting, tax, and filing software we use to keep your books and prepare your returns
- Government agencies, such as the IRS, state tax and business agencies, and FinCEN, when we file on your behalf
- Anyone else only with your permission, or where the law requires it
These providers handle your information only to provide their services to us.
Security and retention
We limit access to client information to the people working on your engagement and take reasonable steps to protect it. We keep contact form messages for as long as needed to answer them and follow up, and client records for as long as you are a client and afterward for as long as tax and professional record-keeping rules require, then delete or de-identify them.
Your choices
To access, correct, or delete personal information we hold, subject to our legal retention duties, use our contact form.
Children
This site and our services are for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the date at the top.
